Utah Man Fatally Shot by FBI Agents after Threatening President Biden

In Utah, a man named Craig Deleeuw Robertson was shot and killed by FBI agents following his disturbing posts on social media targeting President Joe Biden. The shooting occurred when the FBI agents were executing a search warrant at Robertson’s residence. On his social media accounts, Robertson expressed his support for former President Donald Trump while making explicit threats against President Biden.

The FBI has clarified that the shooting took place while they were attempting to serve arrest and search warrants at Robertson’s home. As per their standard protocol for agent-involved shootings, the incident is currently being reviewed by the FBI’s Inspection Division.

Due to Robertson’s alarming posts on social media, he now faces multiple felony charges, including interstate threats, influencing, impeding, and retaliating against federal law enforcement officers through threats. These charges also encompass threats made against the president.

This incident is indicative of a larger trend of individuals making threats towards political figures, highlighting the intricate challenges faced by law enforcement in handling such cases.
