Hillary Clinton Supports Democracy and Criticizes Trump Amidst Indictment News

In response to recent news of Donald Trump’s indictment, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took to social media to subtly mock him by sharing a link to “But Her Emails” merchandise. The merchandise, which references the controversy surrounding Clinton’s past email scandal, features a photoshopped image of Clinton wearing a hat with the slogan.

During her time as Secretary of State under former President Barack Obama, Clinton mishandled classified information by using a private server, potentially using it for personal gain. She also deleted thousands of emails, although FBI Director James Comey decided not to pursue charges in 2016, a decision that was criticized for downplaying the severity of Clinton’s actions.

This is not the first time that Clinton has used this merchandise to mock Trump. She previously did so after the FBI raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home last year. The sale of the merchandise aims to support organizations affiliated with Clinton’s organization, Onward Together, which works to strengthen democracy.

Clinton’s social media post comes in light of Trump’s revelation that he is being indicted as part of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into the handling of White House documents. By wearing the “But Her Emails” hat, Clinton subtly criticizes Trump while drawing attention to the controversies surrounding both candidates.
